DEPRESSION & ANXIETY
Anxiety and depression are strong origins of struggle. It has many dark realities, both in the outward actions and inward battles that rage between the mind and oneself. It can happen to anyone at any age and stage of life.
Reality
begins to slowly slip away, and with it goes a sense of
grounded truth and comfort.
Anxiety begins to land,
and unsettled feelings find footing.
In a grasp to realize oneself, with no way to truly find the roots,
wisps of ecstasy rattle the leaves of optimism grasping at freedom.
Instead, bondage is resulted in the attached sense of false hope, and
once again, an uprooting is just another struggle in the quicksand.
Drowning in the need to be full again, the mind is tricked – at first
it sees a bedrock, but as it becomes more obsessive, it transforms into an
overwhelming downpour of expectation.
Drastic change is called for – to escape and earnestly be anything.
Forget the roots, forget the ground, and forget the bedrock.
This is real – the ground is only as good as what the roots draw from
it.
